GAN356 X 3x3 Removable Magnetic Magic Cube Square Cube Puzzle Toy for Brain Training - Number Adjustment IPG + Colorful Stickerless

[IPGv5] Devived from the original GAN core, combined high strengthened light blue plastic and steel screws. Brings higher stability with higher perpendicularity and higher accuracy to cubes. Visible, quantifiable tuning system, and no more additional tools needed. You can tune by hand.

[GESv3] Bigger size spring nuts, lighter IPG v5 cores, bringing more consistent elasticity to speedcube. 4 best elasticity GES nuts.

[Numerical IPG] Equipped with 4 sets of GTN,has 3 Distances, enjoy 12 Numerical Controllable handfeels.

[GES+] Comprised with Numerical IPG and GAN Tension Nuts. You can tune the Elasticity/Distance by your hand.

[Magnet Capsule] Magnet Positioning Tech. When a speedcuber is solving a cube, the cube turns at a high speed. Fast turning speeds lower the chance that pieces are correctly aligned during a solve. To position pieces more accurately, magnets are inlayed into each piece of the speedcube, the magnetic force drives the pieces to their correct positions and results in smoother turing. The revolutionary GAN Magnet System/GMS, consists of the patented magnet grooves and magnet capsules. You can replace the magnet capsules to change magnet forces of the cube.

The best cube
The cube is great but it's a bit overpriced
this cube. is. so. frickin. smooth. oh my gawd, it's even softer and more plush than the SM, and the M-slices in my opinion are WAY better. I used the yellow GTN on the 0.6 setting, with clear strong magents. this creates a fast yet controllable cube, and the turning is soft, plush, quiet, and kind of...creamy? I guess? it's a buttery smooth feeling, and is still quite light, not as light as the SM, but I feel that the heft kind of makes turning the cube more enjoyable. the cube has full corner-cutting, and is extremely stable with the set-up I have. it doesn't pop, and doesn't corner twist. now, for the cons: for one, the center cap design is absolutely horrible. it requires for it to snap into the piece, and I always feel like I'm breaking the cap every time I out it back on. second, this cube is near impossible to set up, because the GTN doesn't lock into the IPG until the cube is assembled, and the pressure of the edge and center piece forces the GTN into place. therefore, when assembling the cube, it's practically impossible to put it back together. it took me about six tries to get it back. however, this cube is AMAZING, and I would very highly recommend if you have $62 around. it's so nice to turn, and I'm very excited for the next generation X (GAN356 XS? lol)!
The cube feels great. It took a little getting used to because its much lighter than my Valk M, but after a couple days I was good with the weight difference. I actually prefer the lighter weight now. Its very smooth and the numerical IPG tensioning allows you to customize your tension accurately and consistently which is great. I'm spoiled now. how did I ever set my tensions before this? Currently using blue set to 0.8 with the strongest magnets. This leads into the annoyance I mentioned in the title. I would much rather run the medium strength magnets. However, when I put any magnet in other than the strongest ones, the cube makes an annoying rattling sound while solving. It doesn't hinder the cubes performance at all, which is why its simply an annoyance rather than a real problem. Unfortunatly, for me the rattling noise is to much to ignore, so I am forced to use the stronger magnets. I'm not sure if the plastic casings on the medium magnets are slightly more narrow causing them to slip around, or if the magnets inside the plastic are loose. I've been trying to figure it out to no avail. After a few days I got used to the stronger magnets, so no big deal I guess. With all that being said, I still recommend the cube because it feels great and the numerical tensioning more than makes up for the magnet annoyance.
